MODIFICATION OF CYLINDER VHM 63 DT C345
In a view to standardization of our cylinder range and components, we have designed a new VHM 63 DT C345 model.
The modifications mainly concern the central bearing and the cylinder end caps with the reduction of the cylinder overall height and length and an improved swiveling capacity of the central bearing.
The technical specifications remain identical to the previous model which will no longer be commercialized from the beginning of May 2010.

On 17/12/2009 Lecomble and Schmitt obtained for the tenth consecutive year the successful renewal of its ISO 9001 certification, the guarantee of a willingness to offer constant satisfaction to its clients.

2009 INDUSTRIAL PERFORMANCE PRIZE FOR LECOMBLE & SCHMITT
LS has been the official supplier of hydraulics to major pleasure boat builders (Jeanneau, Beneteau, Amel, ...) for many years.

On May the 15th, 2009 Lecomble & Schmitt was awarded the 2009 Industrial Performance Prize by Adour Compétitivité.

LECOMBLE & SCHMITT IN THE 2008-2009 VENDEE GLOBE
The tireless crew member !

When the Vendée Globe fleet left Les Sables d’Olonne, more than 20 boats out of 30 were fitted with LS hydraulic linear drive units.

At the end of the race, no failure has been reported on Lecomble & Schmitt pilot, proving that the worst sailing conditions are normal for L&S hydraulic cylinders.

Linear drives L&S 40ST16 and L&S 50ST20 used on IMOCA 60 are the same as the 20,000 hydraulic pilots fitted on sailing boats for more than 10 years.

After checking the 40ST16 linear drive used by Michel Desjoyeaux during 90% of the racing period, it was established that the drive could have done a second round the world race without maintenance required!

Steering is smooth and accurate in all navigational conditions: tight curves, 8-shaped curves, curves at 40 knots and speeding at 60 knots (maximum speed of the boat).
The pilot can easily steer the boat with one hand and use the other hand for trim and gas.
 
As soon as we were informed about the launching of the new YAMAHA V8 350 HP motor, we started working on the design of cylinder 350 PRO.
With 40% increase of the cylinder power compared with the 300 PRO cylinder, unrivalled smoothness and comfort are attained.
With 7.5 turns lock to lock, the configuration for TWIN 350 is perfect.
